We created the digital holographic set design for the opening show of the Globant Digital Disruptors Awards 2021 at the Teatro Coliseo. These awards honor individuals at the forefront of the digital revolution. We brought to the stage a performance inspired by those who see beyond. It was a show where machine and human connect through the art that disrupts technology, and vice versa. A human body enters a computer and begins a transformation process after a digital glitch.
Yet, the organic and sensitive remain present, expanding in the bodies on stage and responding to sound vibrations. We used visuals to achieve a fusion between the human aspect of dance and digital creation.
The organic and the digital can no longer be separated, each exists because of the other. Conceiving a disruptive space-time is not possible without integrating the sensed and the coded.
